Science Clubs
Spend an hour after-school or at the weekend doing some proper fun science.
We'll be going through lots of key scientific concepts (how to build an experiment, hypothesis, controls etc) and covering a range of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math and Engineering concepts.
Children learn best through active doing and creative expression so every session will have hands on experiments and a big dose of art and creativity.
Science Tutoring
With over 14 years of tutoring experience for GCSE, A Level and BTEC courses, you are in good hands in The Science Room.
Regular individual tutoring sessions go through the course content in detail, tailored to each individual ensuring the most effective learning and focus on those difficult topics and challenging areas. We focus on building up note taking and study skills and exam preparation to build confidence and enjoyment for science.
Group sessions take place prior to exams throughout the year, with a focus on high intensity revision of key problem topics, revison skills and how to apply knowledge to answer exam questions.
Science Workshops
Creative workshops aimed at growing skills in teamwork and collaboration through STEM concepts, suitable for corporate and community groups.
Get your lab coat on and spend 2-3 hours at The Scioence Room Lab doing all the science you wished you could have done at school. Team-building activities and games that boost morale can break down barriers among employees and create an environment that is nice to work in, which is vital to a successful and well-functioning business.
You can choose from a range of activities and challenges, do experiments and build those essential life skills - teamwork, listening, communication and collaboration.
We understand that every team has unique needs and objectives. Whether you prefer a half day immersive science experience or a series of shorter workshops spread over time, we will work closely with you to design an experience that aligns perfectly with your team's goals and interests.
